It's not too dark and it's not too light; just perfect for coloring in a first layer of a fair skin tone (& ideal for almost any anime/manga character). Applying it for the first time, I was a little hesitant because I'm not used to copic. But using it now, I've noticed that it lays on dark at first and when it dries, it gets a bit lighter. I have to get used to that, but otherwise, this product is awesome. I got this in the mail four days before its estimated arrival date, so that's always a plus too. I really recommend E00 to those who are experimenting with markers, and likewise for those who are experienced with markers. Give it a go.
