Makes it more likely that the faux nails will get better and more complete adhesion to my real nail.They do take time and care to remove but that is the objective, they don't just pop off willy nilly.I use them in addition to the ones that come already adhered to the faux nails. I'm a nail tech of 30 years and started wearing press ons that I design for a themed cruise where I change my nails daily. I need them to stay on all day through different activities, yet they need to be easily changed out and nails saved to wear over and over. I used Nailene brand for 5 years and they are unavailable everywhere. I have tried 4 other brands and so far these are the best replacement. I need easy on, stay on, easy off, and easy to remove from the press on. I'm a picky customer and these worked 2 days until I took them off.I edited this review, because they would be so much better if they were a little thinner. If they were, the nails could look so natural.
