**Q: What are the speaker dimensions?**
A: For the 8" speaker:  outer frame is 8 3/8" diameter, mounting depth is 3 7/8", and the hole cut out is 6 15/16" diameter.  This is from the spec sheet that came with the speaker.

**Q: ’20 Explorer; Upgrading from factory sub; 1) will this fit the factory sub opening? 2) will this sub work okay with factory amp?**
A: Yes and no

**Q: I’m replacing a factory sub with this one. Do I need to install an amp or is it ready to go?**
A: No! You will need a amp !! I did !! I had it installed in my Dodge Charger and I hated it !! The speaker is not for open air , it would be better in a small box ! I didn’t end up using it.

**Q: Can this be wired as a 2 ohm speaker?  This has 4 post correct?**
A: Yes

Replaced my factory 06 LS 430 Mark Levison Sub. Easy DIY install. If you’re looking for an affordable solution to replace your factory sub, it’s an excellent choice. Bass hits harder and sounds better than the factory. You will have to modify your mounting bracket, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to help you out.
