Any rowing over 15 minutes is going to cause discomfort, the seats are hard and there’s only a slight counter. This gel seat pad is not bulky, and makes the ERG seat comfortable for rowing. It’s light weight, well made and doesn’t slip. I think it’s great for any rows up to an hour. Over an hour it offers less comfort but still does the trick.
