It could also be that I read the fracking manual of my sewing machine on how to properly thread it.Anyways, this thread is really strong. While I am definitely no expert on thread quality as I am a novice to the whole sewing thing, I have to say I am impressed by this stuff, especially for the price which is far below other, self-claimed "high quality" thread you'll see on Amazon.Simply put, this stuff will not break under normal use. It works flawlessly for all sorts of fabrics, including denim and other thick fabrics. Hell, I made a few dog toys for my dog and he was unable to break the stitching. In fact, the fabric tore before the stitches did (two layers of denim). Actually, the stitching did not even break.I've used this stuff to stitch multiple layers of denim-like fabric together without ANY issues with this thread. It held together like a champ.This thread also will not tangle, nor bunch up like some people are claiming. I have no idea why people are claiming that. What the hell are they trying to do with it?Whatever. The only reason why I docked a star off is because there are some issues when you get towards the end of the roll.I am unsure who spooled the thread, however when you get towards the end, you're finding yourself gambling whether it was spooled by a spastic person with Parkinson's. The reason I say this is because the thread towards the end is oddly wrapped; it overlaps itself in odd places and makes it unusable as you would have a tough time untangling the mess.With that being said, don't let that turn you off of this brand. The amount of unusable thread at the end isn't really all that much. I think it's pretty nice, though it could be stronger(breaks at times). Also, when I was looking at the colour selection, I thought I saw yellow. But in the package, I only noticed a bright lime green which, on closer inspection, only looked yellow on my monitor. Why doesn't this set come with such a basic colour like yellow? I don't get it. Also, I did not receive any orange either, only 2 shades of red(very red, not orangey at all). In this case, it's a great deal of length in thread in several colors, weighted toward the most-often-worn. Primarily, blacks and whites.This thread was a lighter gauge than I expected. It's very thin and not particularly strong. Thats not really a surprise, again, because it was cheap.The thing that bugged me about this product, taking away 1 star was that the thread pilled up and tangled more than other threads I've used.
