A “youth” glove has a smaller pocket for their hand, it has nothing to do with the measurement of the glove. A 5’7” 14 year old does not need a youth glove. As far as the actual size a middle infielder is typically going to wear either a 11.25 inch-11.5 inch. (At all levels, including professional). 3rd base is typically going to be 11.75 and sometimes 12. Most pitchers wear a 12 inch glove. The standard in outfield is 12.75 inch.
