This was recommended by another doctor who uses it to keep to time in busy clinics. I have not had the opportunity yet to use it at work, but it has become a friend to me at home. It helps me to be more productive, by apportioning time to necessary tasks. It is tactile and pleasing as an object, the design and build quality are high, and it is the perfect size. The increments from 3 to 30 minutes on the faces are exactly right. If I need more time, I just flip it. It's possible to silence the alarm so it may be used more discreetly. The only possible flaw is that it cannot be used while charging, but this has not been an issue since a full charge lasts for a long time. I'm very pleased with it and plan to buy one for my daughter who has the same diagnosis and struggles with executive function.

So, instead of being angry at myself for not picking up my guitar, I can set a 5 minute timer and at least get something done. I can always extend the timer if needed. **Q: Can't use the timer while charging. When the timer is fully charged, do I need to unplug the charging cable to use it?**
A: Important Notes on Charging:
1.When the charging cable is plugged in, the timer screen lights up and quickly goes out. Power is connected.
2.Note: the timer is turned off while charging and cannot be turned on or used.
3.The arrow light on the base flashes while charging.
4.Charging complete, the arrow light goes out. 
5.Unplug the charging cable and press either button to turn it on.

**Q: Can you set the number of timer beeps?**
A: No

**Q: Does it have a pause?**
A: Technically no, but there is a workaround of sorts. If you've set, say, a 25 minute timer and you need to interrupt the session, you can flip the timer, screen-face up. This stops the timer and flashes the current time at which it was stopped. Take a note of the time and set a manual timer matching the stopped time to continue the timing session when you need to

**Q: How do you make the display stay on after setting the timer? I like knowing how much time is left.**
A: Just lay it down on your counter top and it counts down showing how much time is left.

I bought this on a recommendation. I'm a doctor with ADHD and have problems with procrastination and time management. This was recommended by another doctor who uses it to keep to time in busy clinics. I have not had the opportunity yet to use it at work, but it has become a friend to me at home. It helps me to be more productive, by apportioning time to necessary tasks. It is tactile and pleasing as an object, the design and build quality are high, and it is the perfect size. The increments from 3 to 30 minutes on the faces are exactly right. If I need more time, I just flip it. It's possible to silence the alarm so it may be used more discreetly. The only possible flaw is that it cannot be used while charging, but this has not been an issue since a full charge lasts for a long time. I'm very pleased with it and plan to buy one for my daughter who has the same diagnosis and struggles with executive function.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Improved version

They seem to have upgraded this model - eg it now has USB C recharging instead of micro USB. Quality is good. No scratches on the screen. It is all made of plastic from what I can tell, though the exterior looks like metal. I've only given it 4 stars because it is so very small. Especially the screen which is the most important bit. The screen is only 2.5 CMs. Also whilst the clever ability to set the timer by rotating the device is useful it's a little bit less obvious how to do it for 25 mins if you don't want to have the the countdown display at an angle. The manual in the box tries to explain how to do this, but not very well. The volume of the time over is very loud The device is small enough to be easily pocketable Overall, I'd recommend this, it's quite an original design, I'd just like it to be 3 times the size so I can see the display more easily
