Review: Great for the price! - They look great, they were a little loose and floppy but if you tighten the three screws down on the bottom (not too much or you’ll strip them out) they firm up and don’t blow around in the wind. Looks great on my 1979 Scout II.

They look great, they were a little loose and floppy but if you tighten the three screws down on the bottom (not too much or you’ll strip them out) they firm up and don’t blow around in the wind. Looks great on my 1979 Scout II.

The mirrors on my '83 Ford Ranger would not stay in position; just worn out. These installed in the original bracketts and are designed to fit either side. My old ones were designed left and right. The old mounting was a screw that fit flush into the bracket while these use a bolt and nut protruding below the bracket. My main reservation about these mirrors is that the adjustment still gets off after several door closings. I would have preferred a firmer adjustment.
