I have to turn it up so loud these days that it is unpleasant to watch tv with me. But sadly this device amplifies everything including the noise of the ceiling fan.I didn't find the sound to be clear at all. Just fuzzy. I suppose if I had the fan turned off, I could hear the tv then but I fear electrocuting myself from the sweat.
