It saved my phone though, I accidentally left my phone on top of a friends car and they drove off with my phone. After using the iCloud to locate my phone it was in perfect condition. Although the case didn't fair so well. My phone had to have hit the ground at 30mph or more and this case saved my phone. It has a silicone insert which cushions the phone should it fall. The only negative thing is that if it does drop on the floor, the outer shell chips and cracks quite easily. I've had one for my iPhone 5 for years and it works well in protecting my phone. I've dropped it several times and so far it hasn't chipped or cracked.
