Review: Nice Storage for Tools - Had this toolbox a number of years ago and really liked it, but I passed it along to a family member. Missing it and finding that the tool bags were not cutting it (no pun intended), I went on the search for a replacement. Was happy to find this and purchased. The toolbox is of sturdy construction and the doors slide easily, even when loaded. The drawers can be removed for easy cleaning or placement of lining material. The locking bar can also be defeated so that you can slide drawers out without opening the lid. Very happy with purchase, delivery and quality of this toolbox.

It is nearly identical to the 4-drawer Craftsman Toolbox I bought about 30 years ago, which still looks and works great. When I received this one I did a very close one on one comparison with my older one expecting the quality to be less, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the quality equal, there are some design improvements. The two main differences are the drawers on the new one are removable, and under the drawer handles where you place your fingers to open the drawer is larger and smoother than the old one. If I needed another toolbox I would buy this again without hesitation.

**Q: do the drawers lock closed when the lid is down?**
A: Only the first one , the other two didn’t lock in on mine..my 3 yr old opened it..

**Q: Does it have ball bearing drawers?**
A: The Husky box at HDepot has ball bearing slides and is $49 online free ship. I bought 3 and they are good. Top opens and has a swing up smaller tray.

**Q: How deep are the drawers? thank you**
A: The 3 drawers have a depth of 2 inches, the top tray has a depth of 2.5 inches plus the depth of the top.

**Q: Does anyone know how deep the space is in the top section? Meaning once the lid is closed what is the exact measurements in there? Thank you.**
A: The measurements are 20 inches wide, 8 inches deep and 1.5 inches high.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little tool box

Great little tool box. A little heavy so you may want to limit how far you carry it, but that's not really that big of a deal. Handle is sturdy, drawers don't open until the top is lifted up. Only thing I don't like is that when undoing the two clips, the flap for the lock sometimes keeps the top from opening (I don't use a lock). Overall there is plenty of space, I keep electrical tools such as a soldering kit, wire, crimp connectors, and a heat gun in the top and smaller things like miscellaneous tools, a torque wrench, and cleaning supplies in the drawers. Latches and joints seems relatively high quality, no issues so far.
