They're incredibly tough. I had one on my last phone when I ran it over with a bulldozer and bent the frame of the phone to the point where the side buttons no longer worked. And the glass was separated from the trim but the screen was unhurt and there was only one small spot of damage to the protector. When properly installed this protector is very likely to outlast your phone. Following ALL of the installation instructions is key to a good installation.
