**Q: What are the dimensions, esp height?**
A: Mine is the 23 Qt. size. (Dog Food = 18lbs).  Height from top to bottom is 17+1/2 inches.  Width across the top is 9 inches. The container is a little bit tapered down to the bottom.  Depth, from front to back at the widest point, is a tad less than 14 inches.  In a cabinet that 26 inches wide, by 18 inches tall, by 16 inches in depth, I can easily get 3 of these containers to fit, side by side.  Hope that helps!  Sorry, no I do not use wheels as it probably wouldn't fit then.  But even with it filled with food, it's easy to pick up and move.

**Q: What size should I order for a 25 lb bag of dog chow and what are the dimensions with the wheels? It has to fit under a shelf in pantry.**
A: Hi.  I am using a 23 Qt container for 15 lbs. of bagged of dog food and that bag is in there very tight.  If I poured loose kibble into the container, I could maybe fit another 5 lbs in there.  My cabinet is 19 inches tall, and the container is 18 inches tall, so I can't use the wheels.  And don't really need the wheels.  It is 9 inches wide at the very top of the lid.  Because a person is always adding new kibble to a dwindling supply of kibble being used, you'd probably need the next size offered.  And if you're not keeping it in a cabinet, you would also need the wheels because 25+ lbs. gets heavy to lug around. Please let me know if other questions need to be answered, thank you.  By the way, a really good alternative for containing dog food is the Vittle Vault series.  It's food grade plastic, completely air, water, waterproof, varmit and light proof.  They make the containers in all kinds of sizes now.  And you can put the little redwood dolly (wheels) they make for under large potted house plants under the vault to keep it mobile and clean underneath.  I have several of those vaults.  But I do not sell anything, nor receive any kickbacks, nor have any website as the reason for my recommendation.  Just a regular pet food consumer!

**Q: safe for storing people food?**
A: yes. the product is produced using resin that. is BPA and Acid Free

**Q: How many pounds of cat food will this hold?**
A: I fit 48 lbs. of the Purina indoor dry cat food in the 69 qt. container.  It has a little room to spare, but enough to put a scoop in it as well.
