I can't remember the unit price but I do recall that it was A LOT cheaper per ounce than to buy the usual small retail bottle which, even for the cheapest brand, was still a lot more per ounce than at my preferred retail food shopping center.Namely, Walmart. I will say that some people detest Walmart while I don't have an opinion either way except for the fact that the managers have not seen the merits of providing certain spices & flavorings on the shelves in bulk. Their bulk size offerings are of a really poor selection.So, yeah... If you REALLY need to save money & you use A LOT of vanilla, this is worth the price in the long run because its one less item that you will need to buy from the store for a while, thus lowering your grocery bill in the long run because vanilla flavoring is still far to expensive to buy those small bottles since there are only a few meager ounces per bottle.
