The long acyclic cylinder is easy to maneuver, more over, it picks up the gravel and swirls it around in the tube for a thorough cleaning. I can clean my 55 gallon tank's gravel in 10 minutes and suck out 15 gallons of water. The 6' hose makes moving it between 7 gallon buckets quite easy.
