I purchased it for traming my drill press table and will use it for trueing my table saw etc. and could use it for checking brake rotors etc.I might be judging a little harshly as I was a "Tool and Die Maker" and am used to using industrial quality measuring equipment. This is not that, but definitely will do a the job, especially for the price.
