Up to 10? More?** A: I haven't used it for envelopes but I use it for tickets and it holds more than 10 (mine are duplicates) Pretty large and very easy to use. It took some training and practice for my middle school students to be able to efficiently turn their papers in underneath the first letter of their last name, but they succeeded in about a week!The sorter is very sturdy and fits easily on any size student desk, ledge, or tabletop. It has alphabet letters, numbers, months, and many ways to possible use this with your classes. Since I’m in a middle school, I had to use some black electrical tape to cover some of the categories on the sorter, such as dates, because they were trying to turn their papers in on that day’s date instead of by their name. Silly middle schoolers...So now comes the glorious day that all your students have turned their papers into the sorter! You are now able to slide all the papers out and they are magically and wonderfully in alphabetical order!! Then, you can grade those already alphabetized exemplary pieces of student work; and because they’re still in order, you can just go down the row in your grade book and enter them in! Once you're finished, you can sit back, maybe with your favorite beverage, and revel in your newfound free time - then figure out what the heck you will be teaching to those little lovelies tomorrow.
