I use rechargable batteries, and put them on a charger after each use. They last a good eight hours, probably longer, but I never have a time that I need more than eight hours. **Q: the hole doesn't fit my standard mic stand. does anybody know how small should it be?** A: Did you try uncrewing the fitting? It comes with a fitting for mic clips. You unscrew that and the base itself fits the mic stand **Q: Question. If this product was prime. Why am I receiving it way after prime say 2 days?** A: Obviously, because Amazon didn't have it close enough to your address to be able to make a 2-day delivery window. Prime doesn't guarantee 2-day delivery, but Amazon always tries to get it to you same-day, or in one or two days. Sometimes though, they can't because of logistical reasons.
