The grill marks give a 'surprisingly' delicious barbecue flavor. The cleaning took only a couple minutes of scrubbing and the grill looks like new. My stove is glass top with a bridge from one burner to another for a double burner grill pan. I heated the grill for 4 to 5 minutes on a medium temperature and cooked the steaks at the same temperature . It worked so well I could not tell the difference between outdoor barbecue cooking and using the indoor Scan pan grill. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Grill Pan I Have Used *by A***F on March 17, 2017* I've owned so many grill pans over the years and have never been totally satisfied with any of them. This one is the very best. It fits perfectly over two burners on my gas range without slipping off the side of the grates (the bottom is flat and there is no griddle; it's a grill pan only) and heats uniformly. I get the best results when I preheat it until it's screaming hot. Do this, and then preheat it a few minutes more. My only petty gripe is that I wish the grill ridges were just slightly farther apart. It works great, and clean up is a breeze compared to other grill pans that I've used, particularly the cast iron ones which are next to impossible to clean. This one is also relatively light weight, another plus. It's expensive, but it's worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Phenomenal Griddle! *by J***M on September 4, 2013* Super tough surface, cleans really easily (we hand wash it), lightweight. Most importantly, it grills beautifully. Salmon, zucchini, steak, burgers, all delicious and perfectly grilled. It makes the best Paninis we have ever made. My husband and I both love this griddle. If I had one wish, it would be that it was a little wider. But practically speaking, I'm not sure we'd be using the extra space anyway for what we are grilling. So perhaps it's my expectation of what makes a good size griddle that needs adjusting. I can't recommend it more highly.
