**Q: Is this the model gd1yq-us that will work on verizon's mmwave band?**
A: All models (i.e., GD1YQ or GTT9Q work on everyone's 5G. Looking deeper, however, all 5G is not created equal. The GD1YQ will operate on Verizon's newest NR 5G, the GTT9Q will not. NR blends the mm wave UW with longer wave signals to achieve more availability and range than UW alone. They really should give buyers an explicit choice. If you use Verizon and it isn't the GD1YQ return it.

**Q: Does it have Dual Sim?**
A: If you have a Pixel 3a or later Pixel phone, you can use two SIMs: one physical SIM card and one eSIM. You can choose which SIM to use for which action, like messaging or calling. This option is called Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS).

DSDS and eSIM work with some mobile carriers. To find out if they’ll work with your phone, ask your mobile carrier. If you bought your Pixel 3a in Japan, it can’t have two SIMs.

Important: Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a (5G) phones with two SIMs in use will fall back to 4G networks. To connect to 5G networks, temporarily turn off the SIM that isn't set to use data.

**Q: Will I get unlimited storage for photos shot on Pixel5 and pixel4a(5G)?**
A: No. Google is pushing subscriptions to its Google One service, which provide additional storage for competitive rates, along with the promise of better customer support. As a sub to the basic 100GB monthly plan, I can say that the support is overseas-based, and no better than what you would get otherwise. Even though Google made the original Pixel with defective hardware and was sued in a class-action, their overseas support was unaware or feigned ignorance of that phone's issues, and ultimately hung me out to dry because my own Pixel (Bought new from an authorized retailer) failed past the class-action cut off date.

After owning a Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 5X, and Pixel 1 in succession, the replacement bought for the Pixel with the widespread manufacturing defects that I'm typing this response on was manufactured by Samsung. I miss the camera quality. That said, I very much enjoy that the new device has mics that work and allow callers to hear me when I speak, and the working GPS module that allows me to use the phone for that hyper advanced function known as navigation. Nova Launcher solves most issues with One UI.

Perhaps Google will have better luck making and selling phones in the mid-range space. But free photo storage is obviously no longer a part of their plan to do so. Google has clearly shifted their marketing focus, sending these phones to seemingly every tech reviewer that asked for one well in advance of launch, something they have not been known for in the past. A new practice perhaps made possible by lower production costs on this device...

**Q: Does this phone have screen capture**
A: Yes. I found 3 ways. 1) To take a screenshot you press and hold the Power and Volume down buttons at the same time. 2) Ask Google Assistant, "ok Google take a screenshot". 3) at the bottom of the screen swipe up slowly and the image will shrink and below it you will see 'screenshot' and 'select', press screenshot.
