I have two small prescription bottles to insert. I do not want to take pills out of original bottles.** A: The opening is only 38mm. We don't recommend putting another bottle inside the existing bottle. However, we are releasing a Safer Lock Box in the next 2 months that will hold multiple medications. **Q: can my prescription bottle fit in this or do I just transfer the pills?** A: If your prescription bottle lid is really small, it might fit, but the intent is to transfer the pills into the jar itself. It's quite a large bottle and I can put ~900 (small) pills inside. **Q: Can the lock be reset to a different combinaton each day?** A: The combination can be changed as many time as you want. There isn't a preset combination. The combination can only be changed when the correct code is set. A random user cannot reset the cap if they don't know the combination. **Q: Can't figure out how to set up com , can someone help me. The bottle is 4.5 inches tall and the screw top cap is 2 inches in diameter. I want to keep my meds safe in my purse when I visit my grandchildren and there is nothing suited for this purpose that I can find. I don't know how well the combination works as I haven't tried it out in case I just decide to return it. If the dimensions had been posted I would not have ordered. It is likely a very good choice for home storage of meds though. If you have a loved one in the care of home health aids this is a must consideration. So many home care patients meds are stolen and replaced with fakes by unscrupulous people - that is the world we live in unfortunately and it happens more than you know.
