I loved this book with its sweet (pun somewhat intended) message that is ok to make mistakes and that mistakes are, indeed, just a part of life. This is a perfect title for any child you know who may need to talk about their fears. Sweet
A charming and sweet story about embracing our mistakes and not being afraid to keep going. This was an amazing story about a young girl struggling with her anxiety and worry about making mistakes and how she overcame them, by making a mistake. It is inspired by a true event in which a dessert was dropped, just like how Lucy drops a lemon tart. The artwork was very cute and I think this would be a great story for kids.

Delightful Kitchen Fun
Thanks to NetGalley and Clavis Publishing for a free digital copy. What a cute book! And it's based on the true story of one of the most famous high scale desserts (names the same as the book title). Lucy is afraid of failure and is letting her fear hold her back! But with the help of her family and friend Evan she learns that you are always going to make mistakes in life. Especially great for worrisome children who are afraid of doing anything wrong. The illustrations are charming and compliment the story beautifully.
