I've owned many holsters for various handguns and man, this one is just awesome. Slim, fits well anywhere you put it (appendix, 3:00, 4:30, .etc) and has that positive "click" sound when holstering and a smooth unholster for a super fast draw. The weight is negligible and while it doesn't have any kind of guard to prevent you from catching your skin on a reholster it's better without the bulk and you should be watching those reholster's anyway!Obviously the kydex fits perfectly because it was created using a mold of the Shield, therefore being "made for it" is a bit redundant, however, we've all owned holsters that felt like fit was stamped "good enough" from the factory . This holster fits like it should be standard issue OEM. Minimalist, everything you need, nothing you don't. Buy it.Normally I'd give out 4 stars, but the fact I carry this every day and don't have to worry about it one way or the other means it's getting 5 stars. I may pick one of these up for my Glock 26 as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Click on belt is weak *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2017* Because of the adjustable cant, the clip does not snap into the hanks gun belt solid like I prefer. If this was the only holster I owned I would think it normal. I have a p238 and another shield holster from 2 different manufacturers that snap and hold onto anything like a rock. I put the p238 on beltless scrubs and it snaps on solid and obvious. It may be just me. I was recently in a self defense situation which required a draw. With the rush of adrenaline all the weaknesses of your system are amplified a 1000 fold. If it can go wrong, it will. You can't train out a structural parts weakness by practicing at the range. For the p238 and shield get a great holster and keep the safety on fire. From experience I can say YOU WILL NOT REMEMBER THE SAFETY OR HAVE TIME TO CLICK IT OFF. Glocks with 5 to 7 lb triggers are carried without safety routinely everyday. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars For Me! *by O***L on Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2016* Blue Alpha Gear did an excellent job with this one! I love the "click" of my gun locking into place and the comfort of knowing my weapon is secure and accessible. I've tried many different carrying styles and holster brands and this holster + appendix carry is an excellent combo! Before committing to it, I tested it strenuously... Holding it upside down and shaking it with the gun unloaded and inside, jumping up and down and running, etc. The gun ALWAYS stays in the holster, no issue. However, there is some jostling on my belt during strenuous exercise. This was to be expected and is not a deal breaker for me, I simply tighten my belt or secure the holster with my hand during these activities.I really appreciate that my gun's functionality is completely limited while in this holster. There is no access to the safety or the trigger. I feel very comfortable when wearing this and hardly remember I have a gun in my pants it is so comfortable. When drawing out of the holster, it is a breeze. There's enough pressure to keep everything contained and safe, but no issues at all drawing when I need to.
