Love this series with 1st graders! They were all about it.

My son is just now getting in chapter books. He loves these and it the prefect mix of adventure anf fact.

I remember reading this series when I was a kid and thought it would be fun to read to my boys (6 and 4). Now that my oldest is in kindergarten, we've been doing reading logs and this seemed like the easiest and most fun way to get my kids to love reading. I've never read any chapter books to them yet so this was a first for us. And I was SHOCKED at how well they sat and listened and wanted to keep reading to find out what happens next. It also helps it's all the things they love like dinosaurs, knights and pirates. It's been fun for me too to read to them and connect with them. I didn't enjoy reading as a kid but I hope to teach my kids to love reading.

My son is at that stage where he’s grown out of reading the baby books. This is a great chapter book for a seven year old. The print is bold enough but not too bold, the chapters are short which makes for easy reading. He enjoys the adventures and it makes reading a bit more fun. I’ve bought him books 1-9 so far and he keeps asking for the rest. Once your child can read he/she will really like these.

The stories are patronisingly simplistic and badly written, my 5 year old paid attention while I read to him but won't be asking me to repeat the stories which for me is always a nd sign.

The paper quality is so bad, similar to recycled toilet paper, drawings are black and white, no colours whatsoever except on the cover, it was for a gift but the price is printed on the box, I don't recommend, better by each book separately
