Really nice colors and fairly bright for a mini LED. I used them to read my textbooks so that I wouldn't disturb my little one while he slept so for large books it can't illuminate the entire page but that's expected because they are mini in size. If I used them for a novel, they'd probably illuminate the entire page relatively well. Too bad it uses 3 of those tiny watch batteries but at least they can be changed. Our package contained 2 pink and 2 yellow. The on/off button is cheap; you have to pull the button out to turn it off. The light is bright for a mini light so it does the job. Thankfully my boys aren't picky so we will use until they break.
