Was getting battery error on old dell OEM battery charger and new other model battery charger. Almost bought a new OEM dell charger for $68 but decided to try this $6 DC power port. Easy to install. Open cover and remove 3 screws that holds down a clamp that covers the power port. Flip the clamp 60 to 90 degrees to expose the port. Use some force. Then remove the single screw that holds down the port to the motherboard and push/pull the port out.
