Moving on, this next bit is me being picky. I absolutely love the way this mouse feels in my hand. I'm a fairly big dude, I have fairly big hands. The ability to change the layout of this mouse is super cool to me. Jeecoo really outdid themselves. Modular mice are definitively the way the industry will be leaning in order to deliver a better product to consumers while still hitting a solid/wide market base and this product is a home run when it comes to customization. For my work desk, I would STILL consider this a heck of a purchase. This mouse has a solid feel and build to it for a gaming rig. I have the gray 007 and its looks nice on my desk. Aesthetically the 007 is an stunning mouse. Performance makes the 007 a solid buy and can easily compete with your better Razers and Proteus Cores for a fraction of the price. 70$ is a steal for this mouse. Logitech Is usually my number one choice when picking mice/keyboards but after some consternation and about an hour and a half of googling and searching this is a better buy to/for me and I'm very happy with my purchase. Now some nerdy stuff. This mouse was built around the Avago a9800 laser sensor (google the Avago a9800 laser sensor for datasheet). While having issues in the past, the sensor has been since updated to get rid of skipping issues. All of that was Before development of this mouse the laser and has since been taken care of, so no reason to worry about that tit-bit if you were on the fence about it before. Next the software, while not a deal breaker the default language for this mouse driver is not English. ==>The "English" button is in the bottom right after running the James Donkey software<==. You get to the driver from jeecoo.net and it needs to be installed in its default language. I was having a hard time finding the driver initially. Two days after ordering the mouse I had the pleasure of rebuilding my desktop. With that I needed the drivers again and couldn't find them at Jeecoo. This next bit is awesome. So seeing the seller of the mouse on Amazon was in fact Jeecoo. I reached out to the seller and to my surprise i had a response within the next few hours fwding me back to jeeco.net for the driver install again. The entire Jeecoo experience was something I wish everybody had a chance (when dealing with a company or hardware) could experience. Jeecoo was the embodiment of customer service. The 007 is the hallmark of quality, craftsmanship, and performance. Take a chance with this mouse. It will be a gamble worth straying away from the big names for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent concept with pretty decent implementation *by A***D on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on November 13, 2015* I'll say upfront that this isn't my favorite mouse in terms of ergonomic feel, but I do think that the idea behind it is amazingly cool. I really like the idea of being able to customize both the fit and operation of the mouse using adjustable pieces that snap into place using magnets. The tracking and overall performance of the mouse is also excellent, but I didn't notice any improvements in performance over the ~$10 gaming mice that I've used. The real reason to get this mouse is the physical flexibility that it provides - which may or may not end up being better for you than less expensive, fixed-shape designs.The driver (available at http://www.jeecoo.net/download/007drive.rar), while not required to operate the mouse, is essential to customize any of the features. I was far more impressed after I was able to get it downloaded (it took several attempts because the transfer kept failing) than I was using the mouse with its default settings. For example, the one bottom half piece that felt comfortable to me was also apparently the only one that will cause the left click button to vibrate by default. That's not mentioned anywhere that I could find in the sparse instructions in the kit, and I originally thought that the mouse was kind of annoying. After getting the driver installed, though, I could turn that vibration off (and sound on/off) as well as adjust the DPI setting more finely. If memory serves, you'll need to set the language to English if that's your preference, as the default is (I believe) Chinese. Once I got it installed, I was quite impressed by both the software interface and the operation of the mouse.I would by know means say that I find the mouse uncomfortable. It's just that I don't find it as comfortable as my current mouse, which just happens to cost less. I've tried mice ranging from under $10 to over $150, and I've loved some and disliked others in regards to feel. I plus to this design is that it increases the chances that you'll find a configuration that you find comfortable. Unfortunately, the different pieces have not only different shapes but different functions (e.g. the side buttons move or aren't there, the bottom logo lights up on some pieces but isn't there on others).A note on the box opening excitement factor as we are coming up on the holidays :) - this thing was the most exciting mouse box that I can ever remember opening. It is HUGE compared to others that I've gotten because the individual pieces are all nicely laid out on a plastic tray, and they are protected by a foam lid. Mine also came with an unexpected by surprisingly nice (and big) mouse pad. I honestly think that just about anyone who asks for a mouse will be excited to see this. One suggestion is to download the driver and have it on a disc/memory card for the person from the get-go so that they don't have to spend the time trying to download it. The instructions in the box are, at least in mine, essentially non-existent. For most mice, that's expected - but for one where different pieces do different things, it would have been nice. If you have someone who likes to experiment, though, that's a potential bonus.Overall, five stars for the idea, build quality, and actual operation as a gaming mouse - with one star taken away because it's not that comfortable to me.(I received a free sample for an evaluation and honest review.) ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great product, horrible support *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on August 9, 2016* The parts and everything are great. Exactly what I hoped. No complaints about the sensor but I'm also nnot one to notice much between sensors, just make sure you have accel off if you're gaming. However, the support and software frankly suck. I had to search for about an hour to find the right driver, and even then I have no idea how to make the mouse vibrate (one of the main reasons I bought it).
