Fresh grapefruit scent and very effective at cutting grease. A little goes a long way, and it’s gentle on my hands with no irritation. I also like that it’s hypoallergenic and eco-friendly. Great value for a large bottle!

Let's be clear: I did not buy this soap, ECOS Pear Dishmate, for dishes. I bought it for the scent. It smells less like a cleaning product and more like a secret, forbidden fruit grown in an enchanted orchard that only appears once every thousand years. If I could bathe in this pear, I would. If I could use it as a cologne, I'd probably be arrested for smelling too appealing. The problem? It's actually good at its job. This is where things get confusing for me. I was ready to forgive its incompetence, given the olfactory paradise it provides, but no—it cuts through week-old lasagna remnants and that mysterious, cemented-on stuff at the bottom of the roasting pan like a tiny, pear-scented ninja. My dishes are so clean, they almost don't recognize themselves. They look shocked and gleaming. If you enjoy having clean dishes, soft hands, and a kitchen that smells like a magical orchard, avoid this soap. But if you want a true, life-changing experience that might make you question everything you thought you knew about cleaning supplies, then, by all means, buy it. Just don't blame me when you start hugging your bottle of pear soap.

I was looking for a good-quality environmentally better dish soap. This works quite well. I do keep a side bottle of Dawn for extra-greasy jobs, but I don't need to use it much; this does a good job with most grease. It has a very mild fragrance, which I appreciate. I can't stand the heavy fragrance of most other brands, including Dawn. Not only do I just personally find it unpleasant, but why do I want all that fragrance on my dishes?? Price is great, too. My one note is that it goes pretty fast. I don't know if it's because I've been used to a highly concentrated product, but I've been a bit surprised at how fast it goes. So, maybe the price is a little less great than I thought.

Worth the buy and it really cleans your dishware very squeaky clean. I was worried about it because you know of all the organics but it really cleaned the dishes good.

This dish soap was an attempt to find a less toxic way of washing dishes. My dish soap is normally Dawn. Dawn is very effective on grease but is very strong. I like the 4X platinum version. One bottle gives me about 4 diluted. But, the scent was so strong I had to set water in my pans to not have the scent and taste in my food. That said, I bought this alternative. It is not strong in scent, is mild on hands, but is not effective on grease. It will if you use enough full strength product but then it takes a bit to rinse throughly. I am going back to Dawn.

Fell in love with this dish soap. It’s really cut the grass plus the grapefruit smell is a plus. I will order more so I don’t run out of this product.

So many things that I love about this, where do I start! Only 12 ingredients, not tested on animals, hypoallergenic, eco-friendly… does a great job with cleaning! Very happy with this product.

Another installment of 'clean the junk out of the house'...becoming more and more concerned with products that have been 'staples' for years...now I'm reading the labels first and not thinking about cost..real, natural, products are out there, you just have to know what to look for...everything I've looked into is adulterated somehow to meet a manufacturers 'price point' no matter what it does to your body and your health...they even take old, established, product lines and change ingredients...flavor enhancers, salt, sugar, dye, bleach..you name it..it is there...if you can't find unadulterated products in your market, Amazon has them...READ the labels..

Moderate cleaning power. Recommend to mention expiry date of the product for those who want to store for long period.
