It's incredibly well designed and makes marking awkward or hard-to-reach areas much easier than using a standard pencil. The long, narrow tip easily reaches into deep fixing holes, brackets and tight spaces, making it ideal for accurately marking wood, metal, plastic and masonry before drilling or cutting. This carpenters pencil is perfect. it clips into my pocket securely & is great for marking out. I can extend the lead in the pencil if I need to mark out a point that is deep where you cannot do this with a normal pencil. It is easy to use & the grip is comfortable if you’ve got problems holding a regular pencil. It’s a good price & I thoroughly recommend it.
