For omnivores like crested geckos (ciliatus) and gargoyle geckos (auriculatus), a complete diet such as Pangea, Repashy, or Lugarti is absolutely essential. These species cannot be fed solely insects.The watermelon flavor Pangea has a strong fruity smell, like a smoothie, that gets most geckos excited to eat. All of Pangea’s crested gecko foods are a good choice but this flavor in particular is delicious. It can also be mixed with another flavor of crested gecko diet to make what you’re already using more appealing to your geckos.Preparing the food is simple, just mix the powder with water until you have the consistency of ketchup. Watermelon flavor is one of the finer powders and mixes very easily. Leave the cup of food in your gecko’s cage for 24 to 48 hours before replacing.I have 11 geckos and only one is more of a Repashy kind of guy. The rest prefer Pangea.
