A: Yes, this unit includes the drain plug.

**Q: How many inches does the lid stick up from the counter when opened? Want to make sure the lid doesn't hit our upper cabinets when open.**

A: I don’t think coyote sells one,  but I had my plumber install a valve and run a hose to the sink drain pipes.
