I use it mainly to get an extra monitor and a few extra USB ports, but it works with a third monitor as well. Not the tray icon, mind you, the WHOLE SYSTEM TRAY. On top of that, it seems to have detected a third display which doesn't exist, and where ALL new windows go (Win10). And, since the system tray is out to lunch, there is no way to open the DisplayLink software to see if I can fix it. Probably going to return this. Also, they seem to think they're Apple. The product is SEVERELY overpackaged in the same kind of packaging as Apple products. Furthermore, it doesn’t charge my laptop, so this is really just a hub. Very disappointed. For once, I should have listened to the negative reviews. Replaced with something cheaper that works much much much better and charges my laptop.
