Magnetic Touch Latch

I purchased this item for use on a flush-mount door I added to the wall opening for my breaker panel. I want the door to open by simply pressing on the corner where I installed the latch. It was easy to install, and works well for this intended purpose. So, my door remains reasonably well concealed, requires no exposed handle to open it, and opens by the press of a hand over this latch. I'd recommend this product to a friend.

Works perfectly. I replaced a broken a old broken one on cabinet.

I was trying to do too big of a job with something too small. I wanted to close full bedroom closet doors with these, and they just aren't strong enough. They were easy to install, and are great for much smaller jobs, but this one needs something more... stronger magnents? larger surface area? IDK, but I do know that you shouldn't plan on full doors working with these, but something smaller like cabnent doors, would probably be great.

Too weak for my needs.

I installed three of these on my bathroom vanity doors. The installation was easy enough as these are simple devices. The operation of the latches is good. The magnetic power is enough for the doors to stay shut (standard vanity with mirror doors) and the action from the springs in the mechanism are good to pop them open well... but not so much they want to fly off the hinges. I'll buy more of these if I can think of other doors I want to install them on.

We bought old home with OLD kitchen cabinet doors that would not close, stood OPEN all the time, due to old paint, bad installation, annoying to say the least; these magnetic catches fixed our problem. Now, cabinets close, stay shut, makes our kitchen look much neater, more functional. Makes me HAPPY!! They are a little tricky to install; no instructions on included; I'm mechanically inclined, so I figured out how to install. 😉👍

Just what the doctor ordered! I had a cabinet from Wayfair that has never closed well due to faulty magnetic closures. I wish I ordered these about 2 years ago, as they solved my problem immediately! So far they have stood up well to 3 little boys using them, and they were VERY easy to install. The double closure was great so I only had to install 1 instead of 2 for each set of doors.

Works like expected. I did have a small issue with the depth needed to attach. The board I was attaching to in an antique cupboard was not as wide as the latch. I really had to be careful when putting in the screws. The screws for the door side were also a little long and I worried they would go through the wood of my door. If you have a wood door that is not very thick this could be a problem.
