For those who aren't aware, Cornish wafers are crackers made like puff pastry; i.e. with many layers of fat between many thin layers of dough, like a croissant. The texture is tender, and the favor is rich and tasty without being sweet. (After all, it's a cracker, not a cookie.) I'm continually frustrated in finding them on any retail shelf or site, which is why I finally broke down and ordered them through Amazon. They're as delicious as I remember.
