Review: Great Pantry Addition! - Although treacle is not commonly used in the U.S., an English friend suggested I try it in a recipe for Yorkshire Parkin (similar to ginger bread). I ordered Tate & Lyle's Black Treacle (as well as Golden Syrup) and the results were amazing!. The treacle created a rich and memorable flavor that just kept improving as the Yorkshire Parkin rested in the fridge over a seven-day period. I have recently reordered both the treacle and the golden syrup, which, when mixed together, are a perfect substitute for recipes that call for molasses. I love the flavor these products infuse, as well as the charming tins they come in. I highly recommend both products as great additions to your pantry.

It is true to it taste and is of high quality and the recipe was perfect. Just like the master chief taught me. The flavor was amazing.
