I got my new HammerHead shower head set yesterday. It came a day earlier than expected which was a plus. I installed it today and it works great. I have pictured the unboxing of it because I was really impressed on how well it was boxed up. Each piece is individually wrapped and then boxed as well. I am sure the company did this to keep the parts from getting damaged. I have also included a picture of a blue cap which is on the the holder of the shower head. To get that cap off just turn it counter clockwise. I also included the finished product installed. Excuse the extra plumbers tape at the top, I went a little over board. Lol! By the way it comes with the tape so you don't have to buy any, which is a plus too. The shower headset is all metal like the description says, so hopefully it last longer then the plastic one I had installed previously. It is made in China but hopefully the USA engineering and quality control make up for that fact. It is a nice shower head and it is very light weight. I got the brushed nickel because my previous one was stainless and it showed up a lot of water stains and such. I have found brushed nickel doesn't do that. The install was real simple just follow the instructions. The only thing about the instructions that I found not useful was the part about putting the washers in the mount and hose ends. I found there were already washers pre-installed. I guess the two that come with the kit are extras for when one wears out. This shower set is really easy to install you don't need a plumber to do it. The shower head puts out good pressure better than my previous head. I left the water restrictor plate in it for now and it seems enough water flow for me. I look forward to many years of use with this showerhead. I will update as needed this review.

So far so good it is well-made, heavy duty, all metal and they made it easy to install without making a mistake. They put a plastic protective part placed around the ends where the screw threads are so it doesn’t get damaged during shipping and they are labeled which end you’re supposed to put the shower head on- it makes a big difference. They even included the teflon tape! I live in California, so with what we are allowed to have gallons per minute isn’t much but the shower was way better than the cheap unwieldy plastic shower head that came with the house when I bought it. I actually like the style, it goes with my mid century not a lot of frills house.

Just installed my second ALL METAL handheld shower head in the guest bath (the first was installed in our ensuite bath) - fantastic product, it really is all metal, well constructed with a great flat black finish. For years I’ve been looking for an all metal handheld shower head like I had in my home in Europe, and finally found it! All the handheld shower heads by the major name brands are plastic. The product was easy to install (use a 7/8” wrench rather than an adjustable wrench!). No leaks and works great. We live in California now so had to order the California certified head with the lower flow rate (1.75 gal/min versus 2.25 gal/min), but the flow was more than enough. The water streams better with less “mist” compared to our prior handheld, which cost twice as much and was all plastic. My wife and I could not be happier.

We've previously used Speakman shower heads because they were US-made and of very good construction. After almost 5 years, our most recent Speakman was getting kind of gunky, despite our regularly removing it and soaking it in a vinegar/water solution. The nozzle side of the head had developed this sort of greasy black stain that just would not come off, so kinda nasty. Time for a new one! In checking out options for a replacement, I came across the Hammer Head brand, which we'd never heard of before. We need to comply with California regs on water consumption, so wanted a 1.75 GPM shower head that still delivered a satisfactory performance. Didn't really want a plastic-parts unit - we like the stainless/brass construction of the Speakman. We also thought that it might be handy to have the kind of shower head with a hose - makes it much easier to rinse off the shower floor after scrubbing it. After reading a bunch of reviews and watching the Hammer Head videos, we decided to give that one a try. The shower head/hose arrived very nicely (but not excessively) packed, and came with extra washers, extra silicon nozzles and even Teflon tape. The Spousal Unit handled installation, which was simple and quick. The shower head itself is not adjustable in terms of the type of stream but that turns out not to matter at all, since the standard stream is great. Much nicer than the Speakman, actually, where adjusting the nozzles didn't really deliver a better experience. The Hammer Head drops feel larger and splooshier (hard to describe, obviously). Our previous shower head was a 2GPM unit (bought prior to the regulation change) and this new, 1.75 GPM Hammer Head unit feels like better pressure, better coverage...just a better experience. And yep - much easier to give the shower floor a quick rinse after a scouring powder cleaning. The 6' stainless hose is lightweight and flexible. Since our Hammer Head shower head is brand new, we don't know how durable and trouble-free it will be over time, but so far, we are super pleased with it.

The shower itself is great and very lightweight, but it has no strobe/focus function - it’s literally just one mode but I guess that’s the sacrifice for a full-metal, healthy shower.

We got the shower head in January to replace another shower wand from a different manufacturer. We got this one because we liked that it was all metal and felt that it would be a quality product. At first, I was really excited about how even and consistent the spray pattern was. This lasted maybe a month before I noticed that the water was not coming out of a few of the nozzles in a straight stream. I wiped my hand over the shower head as I had always done with other shower heads to clean them. I did not noticed that a couple of the little nozzles popped out and must’ve gone straight down the drain. I received a response to my email asking if I could have a few replacement nozzles on February 15. The person said it would be 2 to 3 weeks before they had nozzles back in stock and they could send me some. I am still waiting and it is almost June. I have written a number of times but not really gotten any help. In fact, I only got an automated response to my last email in April. Now I have more nozzles spraying in crazy directions also. I really wish I just would’ve gotten a different brand at this point.

Beautiful !. seems to be very high quality - opted for brushed nickel finish - works wonderfully !! Even though it is still California compliant my shower experience is much more satisfying now. The flow is stronger and fuller. Very happy. The metal hose is a nice, practical plus.

Many years ago I learned the lesson not to buy inexpensive shower head & hose products. And that means reading product descriptions carefully and avoiding plastic products (especially the hoses). With that said, I've bought a number of all-metal products over the years and this HammerHead Showers product is by far the best one I've ever owned, both in aesthetics and functionality. If you are new to this game, it may seem a little pricey, but trust me, it's really not because this product is worth the price they are charging. Straight out of the box, you can just feel in your hands that it's a high quality metal. The installation was simple and it took me less than 10 minutes. And in my opinion, the clean modern design is perfection. I've only been using it for a week, so time will tell regarding the lasting overall performance, but I have high expectations. Kudos to HammerHead Showers for such a great product!
