So I tear it out of the wall and disassemble it.I see that the rope is low grade nylon, the plastic body that holds the mechanism together is very soft, essentially this contraption was made to fail early.I bought it when it was $50 and that was to be expected. When trying to use the open/close manual override it would immediately return to the position I was trying to override. Came home one night to find it hadn't closed. Now it is unreliable, sometimes acts like it is going to work, then doesn't. Cant rely on this to keep my chickens locked in, or let out. Very disappointed! I registered it to extend the warranty. Now, I have to find how to contact Titan, I guess. I was sooo excited when I ordered this. I thought I would have a little freedom. Wow! Was I wrong. So extremely disappointed. Equally disappointing is that I am having to write a negative review, such as this. Originally he was going to use the wood door that was already in place but there is a weight limit and the wood was too heavy. It's so nice to not have to remember to go close the door every night or open it in the morning.
