I love this set! The quality and design are perfect! I love the detail!Its a little hard to play with new players (especially if they don’t know Nintendo characters) but nonetheless I always have a fun time bringing this to the table.

It’s a beautiful set and I just picked some of my favorite ones as well as to show some differences between the original Hanafuda deck. Specifically the Deer, Boar and Butterfly winning set.Which is why I think this version is a slightly harder version to play. Or really you just need to know that that’s the butterfly card.Overall, the first few games is a little bit of a challenge in recognizing the cards but once learned, it’s still a fun Koi Koi experience.
