Everybody in this film gave 100 percent. There was alot dramatic scenes in this film. There was teachable moments in here about life and struggling to make it in the music industry. Ice cube life; Dr. Dre life and his relationship with Shug knight; Easy- Z life and tough relationship with Ice cube and their record label manager. You can learn alot about the entertainment industry ( the do's and don'ts). I recommend this film to anyone who wants to a career in the music industry. This film is entertaining. Review: The Best Movie of 2015! - This is one of the very few movies I wanted so bad to add to my DVD collection! This movie, IMHO should have been nominated for some other major categories besides Original Screenplay. Jason Mitchell, who played Eazy-E, was so believable in his portrayal of the Gangsta rap legend, should've at least been considered for a Best Actor nominee, but I won't go there! The only downside of the DVD is that it's not the Director's cut, which also means there was 20 more minutes of the movie that wasn't seen in the theater. You have to get it either On Demand or buy the Blue-Ray version but you do have the usual extras, including hearing from the real Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren & DJ Yella & director F. Gary Gray.
