It's a great overview of the process of building a custom bike, touching on all the major aspects of what you might get into. The information in it is applicable to pretty much any bike...for more specifics you'll want to get the service manual for your bike plus more detailed references on the project you're tackling (metal fabrication, welding, painting, etc.). This book could easily be twice as thick and still not go real deeply into any one area. This book is also beautifully illustrated! The only photos are in the section at the very end showing some different finished motorcycles as inspiration. I like the illustrations vs. photos...they captivate my imagination more than a simple photo does. I can see this being a reference that I refer back to often while working on my build.
