Meet the Google Nest Temperature Sensor. It communicates the temperature to compatible Google Nest thermostats, like the Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd gen) and the Nest Thermostat E. You can put different Nest sensors in different rooms, then use the Nest app to choose the exact temperature you want the room to be, along with a time of day. And it’s simple to install yourself – just hang it on the wall or place it on a shelf.[1] The Nest Temperature Sensor requires a 3rd generation Google Nest Learning Thermostat or a Google Nest Thermostat E. Identify your thermostat at nest/whichthermostat.[2] Remote control and mobile notifications require working internet and Wi-Fi.

After a lengthy telephone conversation with the Google Nest Customer support and many transfers to the correct engineers it was identified that this product has no software support in this country. Basically it does not work in the UK and cannot be linked to the Nest products.

**Q: Are these compatible and functional in the UK?**
A: Unfortunately not, I purchased these hoping they would work with a 3rd Gen Nest Thermostat. Google confirmed they are not intending in the near future of updating for UK/EU.  Returned them now waiting for refund.

**Q: Does this work in the UK? if not why is it being sold in the uk?**
A: This item does not work in the UK, I purchased this item and tried many ways to get it connected with no success. I eventually spoke with the US help desk who confirmed that it is not supported in the UK. So your question is quiet right, why is it sold.  I tried to return but as I had had it for over 30 days I was unable to return it.  So I'm stuck with an item ii cannot use.  Very annoying..

This product is not supported in the UK, it will only work in the US. This is the most worthless purchase I have ever made! Apparently it's not compatible for use in the UK or Europe! I live in the UK, so I can't use them. Not told any of this when we bought them. How can something be sold in the UK that doesn't work in the UK? Very confused and angry. Waste of money and time!!
