I am very happy to have taken the time to do the research and find this breaker. It saved me thousands of dollars in not having to replace my AC at this time, which is still functioning great. They're better than the originals which haven't been manufactured now for years. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very tight fit, but it works *by B***T on June 27, 2023* The breaker for our Central AC kept tripping on hot days in full sunlight. I checked the amp draw from the outside unit; one leg was drawing 18 amps and the other was 21 amps. This circuit is powered by two 40 amp breakers, so the AC was drawing nowhere near enough current to trip the breaker. I bought this replacement CE 40 amp 2 pole slim breaker and it was an incredibly tight fit--i had to gently tap it into place with a rubber mallet but it worked. So far the breaker hasn't tripped and my ancient air conditioner is running fine. Another reviewer mentioned the same issue with his central AC.
