Love this little audio interface box
Love this little audio interface box. It has RCA and 1.8 mini stereo inputs, and RCA (stereo pair) and XLR balanced mic level outputs. I use this in my gig bag for presentations at conferences. Perfect for connecting a ipod, tablet, smartphone, laptop etc to a house sound system. With a great L/R volume control. This is one of my favorite interface boxes. Works great in LDS meeting houses to interface devices to the sound system.

Made in USA! Includes instructions! You can fix it!
Bought this for a weird audio application, not the usual Direct Box use case. The unit comes with well-written English instructions and a schematic. Perfect for me to make sure it would work with my lash-up. The case is metal and easily opened if you want to make modifications (and of course void the warranty) or make any future repairs. High quality made-in-USA item; highly recommended and would buy again!

Great for connecting devices for split-track accompaniment
I purchased this device for my church. We don't have any techs available for the choir rehearsal, but they wanted to play their backing tracks through the stage monitors. With this device, they can connect a player and control the volume from the choir loft. This is exactly the functionality they needed. As a bonus, the separate right/left controls allow them to use split-track accompaniment with no additional issues.

Inaccurate description. Poor customer service
It was not as described accurately, and/or lack of description. The devices output is in mono only, not seperate left right channel controls. Customer service is lacking. Good luck trying to return item, since they do not provide return label. In fact, they suggested I drive to the warehouse if I wanted to return item, which is a three hour drive. Ridiculous.

Perfect for plugging electronic devices into a soundboard
We needed something to adapt the line level audio signal of our MacPro to mic level and this was perfect. Killed the noise issue, too, and knocking the signal down to mono meant we had another input available on the board. Perfect for what we wanted.

Works fantastic
If you’re gonna hook, any kind of cheaper microphone with transmitter, you have to have this or you will get tons of feedback through your audio system.

Handy A/V item
I have purchased several of these because I can control the left and right channels for inputs that have a split track and can control them separately. Then it gives me a mono, balanced output so I don't burn a bunch of channels in the sound board. I also use it when I have a single powered speaker that I'm feeding from a music source. It gives me a handy volume control without having to run to the speaker or try to mess with the volume control on the music device. It's the right tool for the job in many cases.
