The adjustable blade would not stay square to the cable jacket and kept spinning. Does this do the same thing?** A: I love this tool, not anyone can use it because the design is perfect for its use. I think that you have to learn the tool. It will cut around the cable in one direction, and spin the blade to cut insulation straight down the middle. **Q: Can the tool be adjusted to where it cuts at 90 degrees eliminating a spiral cut?** A: Yes.
