If twinned with full service package the security staff can (with your consent) check the cameras, spot the problem and direct correct emergency services having confirmed real incident. Also nice to be able to check cameras from the app, and get alerts of motion etc to check complete with video clips. With the premium monitoring subscription, they provide a reassuring sense of security. However, the cameras are disappointing — the network range is weak (a £20 camera at the back of my garden performed better), and the connection is often unreliable.
