I think puzzles are a great teaching tool for little kids, and I think that having them play with puzzle type things really helps their mind development. I don't leave it with him to play with all the time because I believe if I did that he would lose interest. So when it comes to his huge supply of puzzle I only take them out when I am around to show him how to solve them and when I am around to play with him. This particular puzzle is really cool. First off it is really high quality, it has bright vivid colors for the kids. It has different sized rings that the kid is supposed to stack and they all fit together. So far me and my son are very happy with this cool puzzle and we have hours of fun with this cool toy. I did receive this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. This is because I have review a lot of products on Amazon in the past and lots of people have found my review to be helpful (by this I mean that many people have pressed the "yes" button at the end of my reviews asking if the review was helpful). This toy is very easy to use. There's really no wrong way to stack them and the pieces fit together very easily. So, I think these would be perfect even for a very young toddler who is just learning how to stack. Smaller block and cups can be discouraging and frustrating for young ones when they are first trying to learn the stacking skill. This puzzle continues to be fun as the toddler gets older too. My son likes to experiment with all the different ways to stack the pieces, and sort them in order from biggest to smallest or in rainbow order. For being such a simple toy, there really are quite a few ways to play with it and stack it.This toy is easy to clean, durable and has no small pieces which could pose a choking hazard. It's only 5 pieces so it's very easy to clean up and doesn't add a ton of clutter. So, this toy is good for the kid and for the parent who has to clean up all the toys.
