Revell made some smart choices in how the kit is broken down into pieces, but 1:350 is such a small scale that you're going to have some tiny parts. The railing on the conning tower, periscopes, and anti-net rigging around the propeller are particularly fragile. The net cutter on the nose for my kit was broken and mangled in the box, but I was able to get it back into shape with some hot water. The fit on everything is very good, however, so with a healthy measure of care and patience you should get through it all fine. **Q: Is this actually 1:720 scale, or is that a typo? At 7.5 inches long, this sounds more like 1:350 scale to me.** A: Yes this is 1/350 scale I am on the phone with Amazon trying to change it. Thank you for the heads up. **Q: Does this need glue or paint?** A: It is a model KIT, therefore it requires glue and paint. There are several tutorials on YouTube concerning this very kit.
