Cuisinart Automatic Grind & Brew 12-Cup Coffeemaker

This machine is great. I've had it for about a year. I love how I can grind fresh beans or use the other part with the grinds. I thought the compartment with the beans would be a pain in the neck to clean but it's really not. It's just a very few minutes to clean out. Don't just rinse it. Use soap & water. I love it. I put on the timer for the mornings. However, the grinder scared the crap out of me the first few days because its loud when the house is so quiet in the morning! Lol. Enjoy!!

This is a replacement for a Cuisinart Grind and Brew that I had for many years- it has a few upgrades that my older model didn’t have- newer push buttons mostly, otherwise pretty much the same. I am quite happy so far and it makes a great pot of coffee. Reading reviews the biggest complaint I see from others is all the pieces you have to clean-maybe I’m used to it; but really? Not hard at all and takes only a couple of minutes—we are such a spoiled society these days. I highly recommend this coffee maker.

Overall great for regular household needs. The grinder included as part of the machine means one less thing on my countertop. There are a lot of options including programmable timer, brew 1-4 cups, and using the grinder or not. The machine produces good tasting coffee. The grinder is pretty loud. If you have a small home, it will definitely wake you up when it starts. It also doesn’t hold enough beans to brew a full pot. We usually brew 8 cups of very average strength coffee for our household’s morning and the grinder is maxed out. If I am brewing a full pot, I fill the grinder and also add ground coffee to the filter area as you normally would. There’s plenty of space in the grinder area, so I feel like it could probably be larger but maybe that’s all the motor can handle. One other con is taking apart the machine for daily cleaning. Of course you clear out any coffee maker each day, but there are a lot of parts here so it takes a few minutes. If that’s not your thing, I would recommend buying a separate grinder and a different coffee maker but it’s not a deal breaker for me.

Excellent product. Pop in your favorite coffee beans + water and delicious coffee in minutes. Easy to clean too.

We had a different cuisinart model grind&brew coffee maker for about 3 years that was excellent, so we figured this one would have similar features. It is nowhere near as good. I could duct tape a cheap blade grinder to a mr coffee brewer and get same effect. While it makes decent coffee, it’s not a good design. It has a cheap very loud blade grinder that leaves up to a scoop of unground beans in it. The cover of the grinder and the chute to the brew basket clog with grounds and have to be cleaned nearly every use, a messy process because of the coffee sludge that builds up. It’s hard to pour the beans into the grinder without spilling. The entire machine must be pulled completely out from under the kitchen cabinet to open the long cover. There’s no brew strength or grind size adjustment. We debated returning it until it was too late and may buy another brand anyway. I silently curse this thing every day. Shop carefully, spend a few more bucks-as we should have done. Cuisinart, we’re disappointed. ☹️

This is the 3rd Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffee maker I have purchased in 30 years. They are durable, reliable & easy to use. The only maintenance I have ever done was to rinse out all removable components with warm water daily after use & run them through the dishwasher every few weeks. I won't ever be purchasing or using any other brand except Cuisinart...love it!

I've had Grind and brew coffee makers since 2001. Mr. Coffee, Cuisinart, and one other popular name brand. Most would store 1/2 bag of beans. Every evening I would dump the old grounds add a filter+water set it forget it wakes me up with the whole house smelling like coffee. This one is a disappointment. It's like management and board of directors got their bonuses and they fired the engineers who make these things. "Fully" automatic coffeemakers are so expensive now. Makes me consider giving up my last born for a foreign made decent going & brew. I will be bummed about this coffee maker for the next 10 years.

Best coffee maker, it is a pain to clean but good coffee is definitely worth it. I own one and just bought one for my son's new house.

We have had a few Cuisinart’s for many ,many years and we love that coffeemaker! The company stands behind its product always! Never had a problem with a return when the need did arise & therefore why would we change for something different! We love the grind and brew, excellent coffee ,easy to use,easy to clean & frankly we are used to the sound of the grind! It is loud ,no doubt about it, but we love this coffeemaker & not changing because it’s a bit loud!!!

Es la segunda cafetera de este tipo que compro, la primera la tenía en la oficina y me ha salido muy buena, pero me la lleve a la casa y compre otra para tenerla en la oficina, no hay nada mejor que el cafe recién molido y esta cafetera ofrece calidad y confianza

ミル付き珈琲メーカー、なかなか使いやすいです。豆からでも、粉からでも、淹れたて美味しかったです。この製品、ガラスビーカー式なので洗いやすいところがよく、保存は別売の魔法瓶を使ってます。注文つけたい所は、引いた珈琲をドリップする時に、ミルの部分に蒸気が通る為に、水蒸気が溜まっていちいち拭き取らなければならない点が残念です。

It’s a well made coffee brew/grinder combination. However, like many of the glass pot coffee makers on the market, the hot plate isn’t adjustable.
