What's the maximum range between bluetooth transmitter and the receiver?

Yes. I've got one in my bedroom and I can wonder around my home with my Bluetooth earphones through several walls.

Thank you for the answers and I have now got a jack adapter. Sadly the whole thing doesn't seem to connect the amp to the headphones. Any suggestion

Switch on the ear phones keep pressing the on button until it says pairing then switch on the adapter and let go of the ear phones it should then connect.

Will this connect a gaming chair to the tv via blue tooth?

There should be no problem with this. I have used it both to transmit the TV audio to two headphones at the same time amd also to receive from the phone to output through a sound bar. There can be a small amount of time lag in the sound but only noticeable if you looking for it. Note you do have to set the transmit/receive correctly.
