Delicious. ### ⭐ Not what you think it is *by P***H on June 13, 2018* Growing up in Chicago and living there for almost 40 years, I am very familiar with Vienna products, and have enjoyed them for as long as I can remember. From the hot dogs to the Italian beef to the Polish sausage, they have all been consistently the best you could buy. The salami on the other hand was a different story. Not at all what I expected. I purchased two of them and both were thrown away after opening them. The texture was the same, I would imagine, as chewing on a plastic dog toy. There was no flavor at all, a tad bit of greasiness, but no flavor . After opening the first one, I thought I just was shipped a bad one, but both of the salami's were the same. The casings were in tack, there was no black or grey mold or sent of being rancid. They were just flavorless and had a strange mouth feel. Consequently, on the same day, I purchase Evreyskaya dry salami and it was fantastic. The flavor and mouth feel were spot on. Interestingly enough, that salami is made in Mundelein Il, a suburb of Chicago as I am sure you are aware.
